	VIP Pursues Retail Channel With Appointment of Alicia Shepherd Warrington, United Kingdom – 9th January 2012, VIP Computers, one of the UK’s largest independent distributors of components, peripherals and consumer products has revealed it is pursuing sales within the retail channel in 2012 with a newly established retail sales team headed up by Alicia Shepherd. Whilst historically, VIP’s strength has been in distributing components, VIP plan to carve out a name for themselves with branded consumer goods. VIP have been supplying retailers for years, but with the benefit of recent system enhancements and ongoing operational improvements, VIP are set to officially pursue this market, with Alicia Shepherd at the helm. A well respected channel head with over 16 years experience, Alicia is highly sought after following her successful achievements with Acer and previous roles within the Channel that have resulted in industry awards & accolades. Commenting on her appointment, Shepherd said: “I’m really looking forward to joining the VIP team and spearheading the VIP drive into retail.
